Chapter 8

An Alternate ending

Time seemed to slow down,
You ran towards where Alfred was about to fall
I see you running towards me,
You shouted his name
Your lips moved to say something,yet I could not hear it.
Tears streamed down your face
Your eyes were watering,I’m sorry if I made you cry,I’m sorry that you suffer because of me
With all your strength,you tried to get to him faster
I’m sorry,and so I’m gonna end your pain.
“I love you!”
Was the last thing I heard before blacking out.


Your best friend,was dying,before your very eyes.
Blood was splattered around him,his eyes were closed.
You screamed,screamed a very awful sound.The scream that Alfred never wanted you to make.Because he knew that you were sad.And he didn’t wanted you to be sad.
You slowly made your way to your best friend’s unconscious body,tears were pouring non stop.You knelt down the cold hard side walk,blood stained your skirt.But you no longer cared.All that matters was your best friend.
In the background Choco took out her phone and dialed the hospital to get an ambulance,Arthur  went to your side.Tears streaming in his handsome face,trying to comfort you.But you didn’t listen,you cried so hard.You layed your head on Arthurs chest,and poured all your tears on him.
“Ssshhh,It’s okay love.Everything’s gonna be okay.” He cooed trying to fight his sobs as he tried comforting you.
Soon,the ambulance came.

~~**Time Skip After a few hours**~~

You were in the hospital,next to Alfred.
You held his hand,your eyes red and puffed from crying.Next to you was Arthur,infront of you were Elizeveta and Michelle.
Michelle cried, “I’m sorry!This is all my fault!I’m so sorry!” you looked at Michelle, “No it’s not Michelle,I can’t blame you.You were afraid….” Tears were now threatening to spill once more.
There was this dreadful sound of silence between you guys.Elizeveta stood up and so did Michelle, “We’re going now,do you want to join (name)?” Eleziveta asked, you shook your head.Soon,they left.Choco entered the room,surprisingly,this time she had no food with her.She sat at the opposite side of you and spoke softly, “The doctor said that there is a 18% chance that Alfred will wake up.” You sat their,silent. “I just wanted to tell you…I’ll continue to pray that he’ll wake up.”She looked down.
You spoke softly, “I know he’ll wake up,I just know…”

~~**Time Skip After a few months**~~

You biked your way to the hospital,every now and then you visited him.Waiting for a day that he’ll wake up.And fortunately,today was the day.
You climbed the stairs with rush,you wanted to see your best friend.
You arrived in front of the door,you stared at the door knob.You looked side ways,and then grabbed the door knob ready to open it any minute.
With hesitation you opened it,





















And you came face to face with a grinning American.
